The best of...monochrome

I'm very happy with the way things are going at the moment. My new printer arrived last week, and so far, I'm loving it. There really is something special about printing your own work. I especially like the b/w images I've printed in the last couple of days.

Dunguaire Castle in Kinavara, photographed on a foggy October morning

The other good news story is, that I'm selling quite a few images in the newly opened, Notable Arts Gallery in Kinvara. The gallery is only open a couple of weeks, and already things look promising for the future.

If your are visiting Kinvara, the gallery is located right in the middle of the village, beside the Italian restaurant.

Horse racing on Omey Island beach

The Omey races are on this weekend, something I have been looking forward to for weeks. The photo above is a shot from 2013. The weather forecast doesn't look good for Sunday, but as long as things don't get too wet, we'll go.

That's it for today, more after the Omey races.

Thanks

Andreas

Machines!

Something a bit different today...

A Volvo A40D

Construction is under way at the moment on the new Gort to Tuam motorway. I pass one of the sites every day on my way to work, and like every other boy/men, I love big machinery. So last night I grabbed my camera and the tripod and went out to KIltiernan. I used a 10stop ND filter, and the clouds played along nicely.
