Over the last couple of weeks I had the opportunity to participate in a series of fashion shoots for Celtic Fusion Design.
It's not that often that I get to photograph fashion, we are in the West of Ireland after all and not in Paris, but I could definitely get used to it.
These images are from our last shoot in Kinvara. I lived just across from Dunguaire Castle for three years, and I always dreamt of doing a photo shoot with the castle in the background. So sometimes dreams do come true:)
A few more from the shoot in Kinvara...
On a another occasion we photographed bridal dresses in Coole Park near Gort. Coole Park was a great location, but the weather didn't play along on the day, it pretty much rained all day long.
Because of the rain we had to shoot in the forest. The rain made the job more difficult, but we got lovely diffused light under the trees.
Esther was our model on the day, and Esther if you read this, thanks again for doing a great job job in somewhat difficult conditions!
The little forest near the entrance to the park would make for a great location for a wedding shoot! If someone is thinking about getting married in or near Gort next spring, I'd love to photograph a real couple under the trees.
The final image from Coole Park, Esther photographed with a long telephoto lens. I love the fresh greens in the picture.
And finally a few shots from a shoot we did in May in the Burren National Park.
And the last one for today
Finally I just like to say a big, big thank you to Regina from Celtic Fusion Design for her work! Good luck with the new bridal collection Gina!
