Connemara Part III

We are just back from a wonderful holiday in Italy. But Before I upload pictures from our trip to Florence and Siena, I better finish the little series about Connemara. I started the day shooting the sunrise over Pine Island. It is quite drive from my home to Derryclare Lough, and if I'm honest, I was a little reluctant to go out, because the weather forecast wasn't that promising. But...I got lucky!

The light on the day was just fantastic! And I'm more than happy with the results I got.

From Pine Island I drove back towards Maam Cross, and from there to a little graveyard in Maam Valley.

The graveyard is a bit off the beaten track, and I haven't seen many photographs of it...yet.

I love the light on the mountain in the background in this one.

Last stop on my tour was Ashleigh falls on the Galway/Mayo border. On photographing waterfalls:

I'm taking a break from long exposures at the moment, I simply think, long exposures can be quite nice, but that doesn't mean that every waterfall has to shown as a long exposure.

And that's it from Connemara. I'll try and upload some of the pictures I brought back from Tuscany in the next couple of days. As always, thanks for looking, leave a comment if you want, they are always appreciated.
