London, architecture in black and white. While we were in London, I went for a little walk around the famous Gherkin building. It was a Sunday morning, so there were no people around. Well, almost no people, there was one security guard who didn't like me photographing the building.
The building itself is of course very impressive. And somewhat difficult to photograph, there isn't a lot of space around it.
I love the reflections in the windows.
I was lucky with the weather, it was nice overcast day, perfect for this type of photography.
Last one from the Gherkin....the spiral
Just around the corner from the Gherkin is the Lloyd's building. What a building!
Old and new
A refinery? Detail of one of the external staircases.
And that's it for today, more from London next week.
