It's pretty damn cold out there today! I didn't get out with the camera during week - unfortunately - but I managed to get out for a couple of hours over the weekend. And on this weeks menu we have....Oysters!
This is Brandy Bay (I really like that name...hmmm...Brandy) a little bay not to far from the village of Ballinderreen.
I have to admit I don't know anything about how oysters are...what's the correct term...grown?
Bags of oysters are placed on steel racks and then left there for....years? Months? I must try and find out a bit more about how oysters are farmed.
And of course, where you have bags full of oysters, you also have oyster catchers.
