Winter Morning

December the 27...time for an update. I'm just back from a short trip to Germany and I have to say, that I'm quite happy with the images I brought back.

I love winter mornings! OK, there was no snow, but at least we had a couple of cold and foggy mornings. I miss a good winter!

Those were all taken at the Okertalsperre (now, that's a nice long German word!) a river dam in the Harz mountains near the city of Goslar.

To be honest, the dam isn't actually that spectacular. On a sunny day...

...that particular morning though...it looked like something out of a movie. A dark movie, definitely not a romantic comedy.

Big pipes, or cables, I'm not sure. They looked pretty cool though!

And that's about it for today. One more

Oh and...yeah, I was pretty busy the last couple of months because we bought a house, that's why I didn't update the site. After we moved into our new house my computer died..and we had no internet for a couple of weeks.. but that was after the shutter on my camera spontaneously disintegrated... Thankfully, everything is fine now! The house is fantastic, the computer is up and running again and I have a new camera! The only problem I have now is my bank account:)
